Crafting Nature’s Timeless Beauty

At Tommaso Stone, we believe that sustainability and social responsibility are fundamental pillars for the success and longevity of our company. We were born committed to adhering to values that promote respect for the environment and the well-being of the communities in which we operate.

We work with the concept of "Crafting Nature’s Timeless Beauty"; that is, we are artisans who carefully take advantage of the infinite beauty of nature to create unique, natural, and sustainable projects, transforming the best of nature into works of art.

Our philosophy is clear: to build a sustainable and responsible future, where the beauty of our products reflects our commitment to the environment and society.

Cultural Importance
Andean Travertine has significant cultural importance to the San Juan region. Since the late nineteenth century, this rock has been widely used in the construction of public buildings and high-end residences, both in San Juan and in other cities such as Mendoza and Córdoba. Stone is valued for its durability and beauty, being a symbol of sophistication and elegance.

City Reconstruction
After the devastating earthquake of 1944, which destroyed much of the city of San Juan, Andean Travertine played a crucial role in reconstruction. The rock was widely used in the construction of new buildings, helping to restore the city and preserve its cultural heritage. Today, many of San Juan's architectural landmarks showcase the timeless beauty of travertine, reflecting the resilience and rich history of the area. A notable example is the Cathedral of San Juan, which is entirely covered in travertine, standing out as a symbol of faith and resistance.

With Nature, we develop sustainable, innovative products made from renewable raw materials produced from Andean Travertine. Our brand and solutions are part of the lives of individuals who care for people and respect Nature. It is a joint value creation effort to generate prosperity while taking care of Nature.
